Miners Settlement – Changes in Runewords

⚒️ Runeword System Update!
We’ve made some exciting changes to how high-tier runewords work!

Previously, certain powerful runewords were tied to specific high-tier weapons, making them harder to access and limiting build flexibility. To improve this and give players more freedom, we’ve removed the gear-specific requirements for some of them.

🆕 Now you only need to equip a gear of the required quality (e.g., Mythical) to unlock these runewords — no specific weapon ID needed.

✅ The following runewords has been changed

• Vinewrap
• Leafbarrier
• Sky Slicer
• Flamewrath
• Aquaheart
• Waterfall
• Aquaforge
• Voltstrike
• Stormlash
• Thunderbolt

This change brings more build variety and makes chasing powerful effects feel more rewarding and accessible. Get your Mythical sword ready and start experimenting!

New types of runewords

We have added new runewords, based on a new operating principle.

Now you just need to have at least the equipment with the given requirements and you will be able to use it!

For example, you have found the perfect runeword for yourself that requires at least an Epic weapon. Do you have a higher tier weapon? Nothing lost! You meet the requirements and will be able to successfully activate the runeword!

What’s more, runewords can be stacked.
For example:

You want to use runewords that give a reduction in enemy defense.

You will find such runewords, among others, on the Legendary tier (Crippling Curse) Enemy Defense -10%.
and on the Relic tier (Tempest Shadow) Enemy Defense -12%.

If you own a weapon on the tier of at least Relic: You can wear both of these runewords and enjoy a 22% reduction in enemy defense. Analogously it works with other combinations.
